Greetings to All Parents and
Students! We trust your're all in tune for a Terrific Year, and that in addition to enjoying the performances, you'll join us and the directors in improving the FHC Orchestras, their equipment, and the students' enjoyment of all things musical and cultural. The Orchestra Boosters is comprised of all parents/guardians of orchestra students in all FHC schools, grades 6 through 12. Members are always welcome to attend meetings, provide ideas volunteer suport, and cheer on our students. By being actively involved in this organization, you reinforce the importance of instrumental music in the lives of our children. Each year, we provide funding for a variety of individual and group items, and provide the enormous amount of manpower necessary to produce concerts, special events, and fundraisers. This effort frees our teachers to dedicate time and "worry-free" efforts to working with our students. As you can see, we have redesigned this webpage, which is also meant to supplement the Orchestra Handbook students received the first week of school. We hope that both members and students will visit it often (at least monthly), contribute to its contents, and download forms, etc., so we will be able to save money on printing for use on other important projects. PLEASE offer feedback for its improvement. |
